25,000 miles to Tahiti. Nonstop. That's the number sitting in today's newsletter and it stopped me mid-scroll.

We also have a card bonus that's only appeared once before in history, a new AI perk on Amex Business cards that might genuinely be useful, and a transfer bonus deadline you cannot sleep on. Let's get into it.

🤓 Miles & Points Trivia

The Citi AAdvantage Globe Mastercard just returned its highest-ever welcome bonus. How many AAdvantage miles is the current offer?

  • ✈️ 60,000 miles

  • 🎯 75,000 miles

  • 🏆 90,000 miles

  • 💎 100,000 miles

The answer is waiting near the bottom of today's newsletter - keep scrolling. 👇

💳 The Citi AAdvantage Globe Just Hit 90,000 Miles - For Only the Second Time Ever

Why 90K in AAdvantage Miles Is Worth Paying Attention To

The Citi AAdvantage Globe Mastercard just rolled out its highest-ever welcome bonus: 90,000 AAdvantage miles. This is only the second time this offer has appeared since the card launched, which makes it genuinely notable rather than just another rotation.

AAdvantage miles are currently available to buy at a 40% discount through June 12, which means the miles themselves are cheaper to acquire right now if you ever need to top up. But 90,000 miles earned through a welcome bonus is a different level entirely.

To put that in perspective: a round-trip business class award to Europe on partner airlines can be had for as few as 57,500 AAdvantage miles. Ninety thousand gets you there with miles to spare. If you've been an American Airlines flyer without an AAdvantage-earning card, this timing is hard to ignore.

Use our American Airlines Miles Calculator to model out what 90,000 AAdvantage miles could get you before you apply.

✈️ Nonstop to Tahiti From 25,000 Capital One Miles

Shoulder Season Is the Secret Ingredient

Here's a redemption worth building a trip around. Nonstop flights to Papeete, Tahiti - the largest island in French Polynesia - are available from just 25,000 Capital One miles round-trip for travel from fall 2026 through spring 2027.

These months land squarely in Tahiti's shoulder and rainy season, which is exactly how you get prices like this. The trade-off is occasional showers - but world-class resorts at a fraction of high-season prices tends to make that an easy trade.

If you're sitting on Capital One miles and have been waiting for a redemption that feels genuinely worth it, this is a strong candidate. And if you need to top up your balance, Capital One miles are transferable to Qantas Frequent Flyer with a 20% bonus through May 31 - worth knowing if Qantas is your preferred carrier for this region.

🤖 Amex Business Cards Just Added a ChatGPT Credit Worth Up to $300

The Business Platinum and Business Gold Both Qualify

American Express just quietly dropped a new benefit onto two of its flagship business cards. Both the Business Platinum Card from American Express and the American Express Business Gold Card now offer eligible cardmembers up to $300 in statement credits per calendar year on U.S. purchases of ChatGPT Business subscriptions.

For business owners already paying for ChatGPT Business or planning to, this is a benefit that lands immediately and doesn't require any behavior change. It just offsets a cost you're already incurring.

Whether this moves the needle on whether the Business Platinum is worth its annual fee depends heavily on how you're already using the card - but stacking a new $300 AI credit on top of existing benefits is a meaningful addition for the right cardholder.

🚨 Deal Alert: Chase to Marriott 65% Transfer Bonus Expires Tomorrow

This one is urgent. The Chase Ultimate Rewards to Marriott Bonvoy transfer bonus - currently sitting at 65% - expires tomorrow, May 15. That's the highest transfer bonus in this window and it's the one most likely to slip past you.

At a 65% bonus, you're getting 1.65 Marriott Bonvoy points for every Chase point you transfer. Marriott points typically value around 0.89 cents each when buying, so this bonus meaningfully increases what your Chase points are worth when moving them to Bonvoy.

The Chase to Marriott 65% bonus closes May 15. Once it's gone, you're back to a 1:1 transfer with no uplift.

Miles & Points Daily

If you've been eyeing a Marriott redemption - whether for a category 1-4 free night or a longer hotel stay - transferring now locks in the bonus rate. You can always park the points in Bonvoy and use them when you're ready.

🏨 Choice Privileges Is Offering 8,000 Bonus Points After Every Two Stays

Runs Through July 7 - Register First

Choice Privileges launched a new promotion yesterday: earn 8,000 bonus points after every two eligible stays completed between May 13 and July 7, 2026. The math is straightforward - two stays, 8,000 bonus points, repeat as many times as you complete qualifying pairs.

Choice Privileges isn't the most glamorous loyalty program, but 8,000 points every two stays can stack up fast if you're already traveling regularly. The program includes Quality Inn, Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, Sleep Inn, Econo Lodge, and several other mid-range brands - useful if your travel is more functional than aspirational.

Make sure to register before your first stay - these promotions typically don't credit retroactively.

💰 Current Offers & Bonuses

Transfer Bonuses Worth Acting On

A few active transfer bonuses worth having on your radar right now, beyond the Marriott deadline covered above:

Chase Ultimate Rewards to Air France KLM Flying Blue is running a 20% transfer bonus through May 27. Flying Blue is a strong partner for transatlantic business class, so if Europe is on the horizon, this is worth considering.

Amex Membership Rewards to Hilton Honors has a 20% bonus through May 30. Hilton points are also in a 100% buy bonus through May 29 at 0.5 cents per point - so between earning and buying, there are a few angles to top up before that window closes.

And Capital One Miles to Qantas Frequent Flyer carries a 20% bonus through May 31 - relevant if you're working that Tahiti redemption angle mentioned above.

Buy Points Deals Worth Knowing

Air Canada Aeroplan's buy points promotion expires today at a 30% discount - last call if you've been sitting on that decision. JetBlue is running a 125% bonus through June 10 at 1.43 cents per point, which is one of the better buy-points values currently available.

🌎 Trivia Reveal

The answer is C - 90,000 AAdvantage miles. The Citi AAdvantage Globe Mastercard is currently offering its highest-ever welcome bonus, and this is only the second time since launch that the offer has reached this level. It's a limited-time promotion, so if American Airlines is your airline of choice, this is the window to move.

💬 Quick Question

Tahiti came up today as a legitimate 25,000-mile redemption option. I'm curious - do you have a dream destination that you've been hoarding points for, or are you more of a redeem-as-you-go traveler? Hit reply and let me know - I read every response and it genuinely shapes what I cover next.

Two hard deadlines worth flagging one more time before you close this: Chase to Marriott closes tomorrow (May 15), and Aeroplan buy points at a discount ends today. Everything else on today's list has a bit more runway. Go get what you came for.
