AAdvantage miles are currently available to buy at a 40% discount through June 12, which means the miles themselves are cheaper to acquire right now if you ever need to top up. But 90,000 miles earned through a welcome bonus is a different level entirely.

These months land squarely in Tahiti's shoulder and rainy season, which is exactly how you get prices like this. The trade-off is occasional showers - but world-class resorts at a fraction of high-season prices tends to make that an easy trade.

American Express just quietly dropped a new benefit onto two of its flagship business cards. Both the Business Platinum Card from American Express and the American Express Business Gold Card now offer eligible cardmembers up to $300 in statement credits per calendar year on U.S. purchases of ChatGPT Business subscriptions.

For business owners already paying for ChatGPT Business or planning to, this is a benefit that lands immediately and doesn't require any behavior change. It just offsets a cost you're already incurring.

Whether this moves the needle on whether the Business Platinum is worth its annual fee depends heavily on how you're already using the card - but stacking a new $300 AI credit on top of existing benefits is a meaningful addition for the right cardholder.

This one is urgent. The Chase Ultimate Rewards to Marriott Bonvoy transfer bonus - currently sitting at 65% - expires tomorrow, May 15. That's the highest transfer bonus in this window and it's the one most likely to slip past you.

At a 65% bonus, you're getting 1.65 Marriott Bonvoy points for every Chase point you transfer. Marriott points typically value around 0.89 cents each when buying, so this bonus meaningfully increases what your Chase points are worth when moving them to Bonvoy.

If you've been eyeing a Marriott redemption - whether for a category 1-4 free night or a longer hotel stay - transferring now locks in the bonus rate. You can always park the points in Bonvoy and use them when you're ready.

Choice Privileges launched a new promotion yesterday: earn 8,000 bonus points after every two eligible stays completed between May 13 and July 7, 2026. The math is straightforward - two stays, 8,000 bonus points, repeat as many times as you complete qualifying pairs.

Choice Privileges isn't the most glamorous loyalty program, but 8,000 points every two stays can stack up fast if you're already traveling regularly. The program includes Quality Inn, Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, Sleep Inn, Econo Lodge, and several other mid-range brands - useful if your travel is more functional than aspirational.

Amex Membership Rewards to Hilton Honors has a 20% bonus through May 30. Hilton points are also in a 100% buy bonus through May 29 at 0.5 cents per point - so between earning and buying, there are a few angles to top up before that window closes.

And Capital One Miles to Qantas Frequent Flyer carries a 20% bonus through May 31 - relevant if you're working that Tahiti redemption angle mentioned above.

Air Canada Aeroplan's buy points promotion expires today at a 30% discount - last call if you've been sitting on that decision. JetBlue is running a 125% bonus through June 10 at 1.43 cents per point, which is one of the better buy-points values currently available.
