Points Valuation Calculator

Every program values differently — a Chase Ultimate Rewards point isn't worth the same as a Hilton point. This calculator uses live, published valuations across 28 credit card, airline, and hotel programs to show what your specific balance is really worth, and ranks every program side by side.

Why valuations differ so much

Transferable credit card currencies (Chase, Amex, Bilt) tend to value highest because they can be pointed at whichever partner offers the best redemption. Hotel points sit at the bottom of the scale — even the best hotel programs rarely clear 1.7¢/point, while several sit below 0.6¢.

FAQs

How are these valuations calculated?

They reflect the estimated cents-per-point value you'd realistically get redeeming for travel at reasonable-to-good value — not the best-case outlier redemption, and not cash-out rates.

Do these valuations change?

Yes — devaluations, sweet spots disappearing, and new partnerships all shift real-world value over time, which is why this tool pulls live data rather than a static table.
