Delta and American Express just launched a new round of welcome offers across their co-branded card lineup, and the headline number is genuinely hard to ignore: 200,000 SkyMiles on the most premium business card. That's the largest offer anyone can recall seeing on a Delta product - ever.

Air France-KLM's Flying Blue program just launched a buy miles promotion with an 80% bonus, bringing the cost down to 1.69 cents per mile. One Mile at a Time notes this isn't quite the best offer the program has ever run, but it's firmly in "worth doing the math" territory.

The case for buying Flying Blue miles comes down to what you're planning to redeem for. Flying Blue is a solid currency for business class to Europe and has some genuinely good partner redemptions. Also worth knowing: Amex Membership Rewards transfers to Flying Blue (via Air France partner) carry no bonus right now, but there IS a live 30% Amex transfer bonus to British Airways, Iberia, and Aer Lingus Avios running through September 27. United Airlines' new Airbus A321XLR will make its international debut on December 1, flying from Washington Dulles to Dublin and Amsterdam. These are the first transatlantic routes for a plane that's been generating serious hype in aviation circles - a narrow-body jet that can fly long-haul distances that previously required a wide-body.

Three live transfer bonuses are all expiring this Monday, August 31 - and they're not small ones.

Citi ThankYou Rewards to Turkish Airlines Miles and Smiles is running a 40% bonus. Capital One Miles to Avianca LifeMiles has a 15% bonus. And Chase Ultimate Rewards to IHG has a 70% bonus - that last one is particularly strong if you're building toward a hotel redemption. All three end this Monday.

The IHG bonus is the one I'd look at hardest. Frontier Miles aren't the most flexible currency in the hobby, but for domestic travel on Frontier routes they can deliver solid value.
