Something worth paying attention to landed in the loyalty world this week - and it's not from one of the usual suspects.

Citi has been quietly rebuilding its premium card lineup, and the Strata Elite is the latest move. A 75K point welcome bonus on a card with serious transfer partner firepower is the kind of thing that deserves more than a passing glance. But that's not the only story worth your time today - Hyatt is also running targeted stay promos that could add up to 20,000 bonus points if your name is on the list.

The Citi Strata Elite Card is currently offering 75,000 ThankYou points as a welcome bonus, and for anyone who hasn't looked closely at this card yet, now's the time.

Citi ThankYou points transfer to a solid lineup of airline partners including Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles, Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer, Air France-KLM Flying Blue, and more. Turkish Miles&Smiles in particular is one of the most underrated sweet spots in all of miles and points - think Business Class to the US from Europe for around 45,000 miles each way.

The card launched in 2025 as Citi's answer to the Chase Sapphire Reserve and Amex Platinum. First-year value is especially strong given the welcome bonus size relative to the annual fee. The 48-month rule applies here - if you've received a welcome bonus on a Citi ThankYou card in the last 48 months, check your eligibility carefully before applying.

World of Hyatt quietly pushed out a round of targeted promotions this week, and if you haven't checked your email recently, it's worth doing right now.

Offer amounts vary by member. One version pays 2,000 bonus points for every two nights stayed, stackable up to 20,000 points across 20 nights. Another version offers 3X points on stays of two or more nights, capped at 30,000 bonus points. Some members are reportedly seeing simpler offers like "stay 5 nights, earn a bonus."

Log into your World of Hyatt account and check the "Promotions" tab, or search your inbox for an email from Hyatt sent this week. If you have upcoming stays already planned, this could mean meaningful free points stacked on top of your base earning.

The 2K-per-2-nights structure is particularly good if you're doing a multi-night redemption stay. Even on a points booking, Hyatt counts the nights toward promotions like this. That's rare and worth knowing.

This one is time-sensitive and worth a quick mention on its own. The 20% transfer bonus from Chase Ultimate Rewards to Air France-KLM Flying Blue expires today, Wednesday May 27.

Flying Blue is one of the most flexible programs for booking partner award flights, including Delta flights within the US and Air France Business Class to Europe. The 20% bonus means 10,000 Chase points become 12,000 Flying Blue miles instead of the standard 10,000.

If you've been eyeing a Flying Blue redemption and have Chase points available, transferring today locks in the bonus. Don't wait until this evening - transfer deadlines often cut off earlier than midnight.

This one is easy to overlook, but the math is genuinely solid. The no-annual-fee Choice Privileges Mastercard is currently offering 60,000 Choice Privileges points after $1,000 in purchases within the first 90 days.

Here's what makes this interesting: that's the same bonus currently offered on the $95/year Choice Privileges Mastercard Select - but this version costs nothing to hold year after year. For a no-fee card, 60,000 points after just $1,000 in spend is a strong return.

Choice Privileges points redeem at Comfort Inn, Quality Inn, Clarion, Cambria Hotels, and Ascend Collection properties. A midrange Comfort Inn in a popular destination typically runs 8,000-15,000 points per night, meaning 60K points could cover 4-7 free nights. Choice also transfers to a handful of airline miles programs, though the ratio isn't always favorable.

If you're a road warrior who regularly stays at Choice properties, or if you're building toward a free night portfolio across multiple programs, this offer does a lot of work for a card that won't cost you anything on renewal.

If you have any experience bookings on your radar - tours, activities, day trips - today is worth a detour through Capital One Shopping.

Capital One's deal of the day is Viator, and the rates are elevated: 25X miles if you're purchasing through a Capital One card account via Capital One Offers, or 45% cash back through the public Capital One Shopping portal. The exact rate you see may vary based on your account, but either number is a meaningful jump from the standard earning.

Viator covers everything from cooking classes in Rome to whale watching in Iceland. If you're traveling later this year and have activities in mind, booking through the portal today could add up quickly - especially on higher-ticket tours.

The Hilton deadline is the most urgent of the three - May 29 comes faster than it looks, especially over a holiday-adjacent week. If you've been eyeing a Hilton award night and need a small top-up, this is the window.

The answer is: Marriott Bonvoy.

Marriott Bonvoy is NOT a Citi ThankYou transfer partner. The other three - Air France-KLM Flying Blue, Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles, and Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer - are all active ThankYou transfer partners. Marriott transfers are available through Amex Membership Rewards and Chase Ultimate Rewards, but not Citi.
